Privacy Policy
Effective date: 28 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use games published by Rogue Tellers, including LifeFlow (the “Game”), and this website, why it is collected, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. By using the Game you acknowledge this Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Game.
1. Who we are
The Game is published by Arsenii Braginskii, an independent developer based in Spain, trading as “Rogue Tellers” (“we”, “us”). We are the data controller for the information described in this Policy.
Privacy contact: [email protected]
2. The short version
- You do not need an account to play. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number or location.
- Your game progress is saved on your device. We do not run our own game servers.
- The Game is free and shows optional rewarded video ads — you choose when to watch one in exchange for an in-game reward. Ads are delivered by AppLovin MAX and its partner ad networks, which use your device’s advertising ID.
- We use an analytics service (ByteBrew) to understand how the Game is played so we can improve it.
- In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in the Game’s settings.
- We never sell your data for money. Some privacy laws treat sharing an advertising ID with ad networks as “selling” or “sharing” — you can opt out (section 8).
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information collected automatically by the Game
- Device and app information: device model, operating system and version, language, time zone, app version, screen size, network type.
- Identifiers: a random player number generated by the Game, an analytics identifier, and your device’s advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID on Android, IDFA on iOS only if you allow tracking) or a vendor identifier.
- Gameplay data: sessions, choices you make in the story, progress (chapter, level, in-game currency balances), which in-game features you use, and when you watch an ad or make a purchase.
- Advertising data: ads requested, shown, completed or clicked, and the revenue reported for an ad impression.
- Technical data: IP address (used by our service providers to deliver content, detect fraud and estimate an approximate country or region; we do not collect precise location), crash and performance information.
3.2 Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never receive your card or bank details. We receive a confirmation of the purchase (product, price, currency, transaction or order ID) so we can deliver the item and prevent fraud.
3.3 Information you give us
If you contact support, we receive your email address, your message and anything you choose to include (for example, your in-game player number or screenshots).
3.4 This website
This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes IP addresses and technical request data to deliver and protect the site.
4. How we use information and legal bases
| Purpose | Legal basis (EEA/UK) |
|---|---|
| Providing the Game, saving progress, delivering rewards and purchases | Performance of our contract with you (the Terms of Service) |
| Showing rewarded ads, measuring them and preventing ad fraud | Legitimate interest in funding a free game; for non-essential processing of ad data in the EEA/UK/Switzerland — your consent |
| Personalised advertising (ads based on your interests) | Your consent |
| Analytics: understanding how the Game is played, balancing difficulty, fixing bugs | Legitimate interest in improving the Game |
| Answering support requests | Legitimate interest / performance of contract |
| Complying with law, tax and accounting, enforcing our Terms | Legal obligation / legitimate interest |
5. Advertising
The Game uses AppLovin MAX as an ad mediation platform. When you choose to watch a rewarded video, MAX runs an auction among ad networks and shows the winning ad. To do this, MAX and the networks below receive device information, the advertising identifier, IP address and ad interaction data, and may use it — subject to your consent where required — to show ads relevant to you, cap how often you see the same ad, measure results and prevent fraud. Each of them processes data under its own privacy policy:
- AppLovin (MAX mediation and AppLovin Exchange) — applovin.com/privacy
- Google AdMob / Google Ad Manager — how Google uses data from partners’ apps
- Unity Ads and ironSource (Unity) — unity.com privacy policy
- Meta Audience Network — facebook.com/privacy/policy
- Mintegral — mintegral.com/en/privacy
- Pangle — pangleglobal.com/privacy
- Liftoff (Vungle) — liftoff.io/privacy-policy
- Moloco — moloco.com/privacy-policy
The list of ad networks may change over time; this page will be updated accordingly.
6. Analytics
We use ByteBrew to receive gameplay events (for example, “chapter started” or “ad watched”) together with the device, app and identifier data described in section 3.1. ByteBrew processes this data on our behalf. See the ByteBrew privacy policy.
7. Consent and your ad choices
- EEA, UK and Switzerland: on first launch the Game shows a consent form from Google’s User Messaging Platform, a certified consent management platform under the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework. You can accept, reject or choose individual purposes and partners. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy settings in the Game. If you do not consent, you may still see non-personalised or limited ads.
- iOS: the Game asks for permission to track via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, your IDFA is not shared. You can change this in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect processing that already happened).
US residents (including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas and other states with privacy laws): we do not sell personal data for money. Sharing an advertising ID with ad networks for targeted advertising may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under these laws. You can opt out by turning off personalised ads on your device (section 7), or by emailing us with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share”. We honour Global Privacy Control signals where technically applicable. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
To make a request, email [email protected] and include the player number shown in the Game’s Settings screen — it is the only way we can find data linked to your device, because we do not know your name or email. We will answer within 30 days (45 days where US law allows). For data held by ad networks, you can also contact them directly using the links in section 5.
If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Our lead supervisory authority is the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos).
9. Deleting your data
Uninstalling the Game or clearing its app data removes your progress from your device. To delete analytics data linked to your player number, email us as described in section 8. Game progress cannot be restored after it is deleted.
10. Retention
Analytics data is kept for up to 24 months and then deleted or anonymised. Purchase records are kept as long as required by tax and accounting laws. Support emails are kept for up to 24 months after the conversation ends. Ad networks keep data according to their own policies.
11. International transfers
Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries outside your own. Where data from the EEA, UK or Switzerland is transferred, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, as provided by each provider.
12. Children
The Game is not directed to children under 13 and contains themes (relationships, dating, money) intended for teenagers and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or under the age of digital consent in your country, up to 16 in the EEA). If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Security
Data sent by the Game to our providers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we choose reputable providers and limit the data we collect to what we need.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy when the Game or the law changes. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. For significant changes we will also notify you in the Game.
